I have just finished reading this book for the second time – by mistake. And I loved it as much as the first time. It is fast paced, witty, wonderfully written and questions how well do we know our spouses? Imagine that you came a cross a letter addressed to you from your husband, only to open upon his death. What do you do?
The book follows three different families whose lives intertwine in a not so obvious way. Through her very clever storyline, secrets unfold and communities are affected by a past event in this easy to read and very entertaining book. Moriarty writes of modern marriages, relationships, joy and heartbreak so well. You are drawn into the seemingly normal lives of all the characters and I found myself asking the same questions – how would I deal with this huge secret?There are some interesting dilemmas and at the end of the book a what if ending!
